Canva background remover cut-out effect - Canva tutorial for beginners with duotone
Combining Canva duotone effect, with background remover and picture frames to create a unique 'cut-out' effect.
Today we are going to build on our previous Coffee Clip (How to add a picture to a frame in Canva) where we looked at how we could use interesting frames in Canva.
Here is the link to that tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCRi3...
Our aim is to get our artwork to look both professional and sharper. This time, we are going to take a step further, and here we are going to have a look at how we can take a photo, get rid of the background and then take it out of the frame for a pop-out effect.
We first need to choose a headshot photo, and it doesn't matter whether it's in portrait or landscape format. We are going to remove the background as our first step, and this is why it is important to try and choose a photo that has a clear separation between the person in the foreground and the background nestling behind. Then, we going to create a new background in a Canva picture frame.
Once you can add these tools to your Canva toolbelt, you are limited only by your creativity!
WHY DO WE LOVE CANVA?
Canva is desktop publishing software that allows you to create custom graphics through your web browser, or through the tablet and mobile app. Canva is a great tool for reasons such as its ease of use, giant stock image, graphic library, and versatility. Since you can use it via your website browser, it avoids the necessity of downloading resource-hogging applications.
