What is the Adobe Creative Cloud?
The Adobe Creative Cloud, formerly known as Creative Suite, is a collection of Adobe’s flagship software, ranging from the internationally renowned Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and through to other software such as InDesign, which is specific to desktop publishing, and video and audio editing software such as Adobe Audition and Adobe Premiere.
What are the benefits of an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription?
Although at face value it can seem quite an expensive monthly subscription at $79.99 per month (or $52.99 per month with a 12-month commitment), once you use the software on a regular basis, it can be an extremely effective and affordable piece of software to allow anyone with a design skillset to set up and run their own design agency.
Should I sign up for an Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription?
It really depends on your circumstances! We find that Adobe Creative Cloud is almost certainly the most powerful tool for designers and creatives. But on the flip side, if you’re only going to be working with it for a day or two per month then you might find it hard to justify that type of cost. Likewise, beginners and those who are very new to the design field may struggle to get up to speed with the extra layer of complexity that these professional and detailed software contain.
