Introducing Squarespace makeovers - brand new 30 minute design courses
Regular visitors to PixelHaze Academy will be familiar with the range of free and paid Squarespace training courses.
As we move rapidly towards 2020, we are excited to announce that we will be providing something a little different. Over the next couple of weeks, we will launch the first in a series of website makeovers for our very own Academy members.
What is the format?
The episodes will be edited to between 20-30 minutes and will be combining aspects from our Masterclass series and revisiting some of the highlights from our free tech tips and #coffeeclips video tutorials. We will be working with our members’ own Squarespace creations, and reviewing their websites based on a tried and tested formula that has been 15 years in the making. From our interview-based briefing process to chalkboard wireframes and prioritised design structures, you will be able to take a closer look at the web design process than ever before.
Do you need to have a Squarespace website for this series to make sense?
Not necessarily, however you will gain the most from the series if you have a Squarespace website (or if you are planning on building one soon). There will still be quite a lot of content within each episode that is transferrable regardless of your website builder or platform.
How much will it cost to access the Squarespace makeover courses?
The great news is that all episodes will be included within our membership subscription package. Alternatively, each episode can be purchased individually for £30.
How many episodes are we planning to release?
We will be releasing a minimum of 6 episodes for our first season (over the next 12 months). As each episode will be packed with content and is time-consuming to create, we cannot currently offer any further guarantees after the initial season.
Who can apply to feature in the series?
We only ask that you have a live Squarespace website (on a paid hosting plan) and are a current PixelHaze Academy member. It is also desirable that you have built the website with no prior web design experience to stay in keeping with the style of the series.
